Major souls are known as angels. Major souls that operate under command of Pattern are not free. They are the archangels. A major soul almost always inhabits a living body. If their body is lost, they gain a new body without markings. Angelic bodies are most comfortable. They do not age, nor do they hunger. -------------- Chaos is made of five parts. Manifest chaos depends on a circular flow of energy through the Rim's doorways. This flow only occurs when the First Light is simultaneously located on both sides of the threshold: "above" and "within" Chaos. The five doorways surrounding the Lower Piazza refracture the "downward" current, producing the bright, self-opposing chromatic airs of Chaos.
